I video-ed the adorable couple Briana and Angela at a new new wedding venue in Round Rock Texas.

I shot the “getting ready,” the ceremony and reception,  up until they drove away.

(Note: I did NOT shoot the aerial footage- I got that off the City of Round Rock’s website.  I assumed that since I am helping to promote Round Rocks new facility they would be OK with it).

I have never been to this venue before. Nice place in an obscure corner of Buda – not far from I-35 but far enough away that it felt like deep in the country.

Waterfall adventures

This couple were voracious outdoor enthusiasts

They wanted to get married at the glorious Hamilton Pool just outside of Austin, Texas.

 

It was a challenge getting all my equipment through the rough terrain.  It was a challenge for the family getting the grandparents there! The sound right next to a WATERFALL was a big challenge for me.

 

But it made for a great day for them and a great video from me!

Bertha and Jose

Now THIS is the way to do it!

The lovely Bertha married her man Jose at Saint Anthonys Catholic Church in Kyle, Texas.

A simple but elegant ceremony and a low key but enjoyable reception!

Everything technical on my end went exactly the way its supposed to!

One camera operator ( me) and two back up cameras giving me all the coverage I need to make a great wedding video.

The one mild drawback is that I went to the church a few weeks before to shoot time lapse exteriors of the church:

But on  the actual day it was pouring rain, so that footage doesnt make any sense. But all in all- THIS is the kind of shoot a videographer dreams of.

I better not get too spoiled, they wont all be this easy!
